WHO THE LUCK IS JAN LAUBER?
Like most other human beings I have the urge and passion to create. Especially moving images.
My Journey
2012 I started to film trampoline and snowboarding.
In 2018, I finished my apprenticeship as a "Mediamatiker" (similar to Multimedia Production).
Since 2019 I have been working as a freelancing videopgrapher. Beside that I worked as a roofbuilder and in a gas station. After visiting Sri Lanka, Mexico and Guatemala I decided to explore new cultures without the supernatural speed of huge iron birds.
In 2021 I started to travel by bicycle from Switzerland in the direction of Greece.
2022 I got stuck (voluntarily) for 9 months in Bulgaria.
2023 I started again to cycle, went through Turkey and Georgia and cycled home. Afterwards I went to France (without bicycle) to learn some French.
2024 | Since March I'm back in Switzerland and finished my civil service in a retirement home in Fribourg, to practice some French.
2025 | Moved to Chur to join Moviemaint filmagency for professional experience in the industry.
Summer 2026 | back in Bern
Looking for new projects and part-time job in the film industry.
I'm an uncompliated, openminded and easy-going guy from Switzerland. Since 2019, I have worked as a freelance videographer. Beside my passion to create animation and film, I also love traveling, humans, music, creating art and a bunch of other stuff.
Don't hesitate to contact me.
I'm always happy to help, share my knowledge or give my opinion as a creative.
